After I put my new painting on Instagram , the one above if you click through ,..
One of my followers tells me that this painting , better said the face in the painting , reminds him of this poet Edgar Allan Poe.
Curiously I started to read about this man ( yes I am a sucker for coincidence , there is no such thing!,.and people reaching out with information I never heard about, I always like to know more !)

Funny enough is that Edgar wrote his poems inspired by the events of life happening around him or to him.
Obviously that appealed to me as this is how I paint .
