Christo to let people walk on water !
I love the gift he wants to give us, as an experience which is an fairly inhuman thing to do, we simply can not walk on water ! But as close as we can get to that sensation we must go and see the project of Christo. He even compares it to walking on the back of a whale.
Unfortunately there will be always people who have a a negative tinted opinion about his projects. Which is a shame because Christo not only creates completely unique temporary installations that ignite the imagination, activate the surface, focus on the environment/location and our role in it, bring together communities, culturally inspire, etc., but create jobs, draw tourism, educate masses, conduct huge environmental impact studies, and also is completely self financed. Not a penny wasted.
