Hello again

Hello again

little update on my about section :

Lolo Loren, a Dutch-born artist in Ibiza, Spain, transitioned from economics in Amsterdam and fashion in Paris to focus on painting and photography. She moved with her family to Ibiza in 2004, had her first exposition in 2006. Her art reflects a fearless exploration of creativity, often evolving unconsciously through the use of diverse materials like cement and pigments alongside the traditional paints. After years of attending ArtFairs and organizing expositions all over the world, she found her expertise in making very large canvases, up to 5 meter. A niche for the art market based in Ibiza, from where she flies the big paintings out to clients worldwide. Initially bold and glossy by using epoxy to seal the painting with a glossy feel, her style has shifted to embrace more authentic textures influenced by the nature of the Island. Lolo encourages audience engagement, inviting viewers to derive their own interpretations and narratives from her work rather than imposing her own. The validation on an art piece by telling the story behind the painting is in her eyes one of the old codes of the art world. Sometimes there simply is no story behind it than just the joy to have created the art, without a thought or plan she says.
The challenge is to find passion in simple things again. We will see that human touch, energy and craftsmanship will be so much more worth than we realise now, hope humanity finds its peace there, that is worth everything!
