Inspired on my Island life. The sea, the hazy hay fields, everything what came in between..
At first I was a bit afraid to create so big and had no idea if it was an option for me, was the first time I painted this big.
I am afraid I created a new addiction because I love it and I love the paintings!
Sometimes I am working for hours and the painting gets uglier and uglier.
The paint to thick, no patience to let it dry, mixing the wrong colors because of it, one big soup of nothing.
So tomorrow another day, you can’t always make the right one in one go.
I am afraid though that something is ‘negative’ about one canvas it has so much paint of overdoing and overpainting it is ripping the actual canvas never happened before.
