A man/client came to my studio and was immediately captivated by this painting. He stood there ..staring and then began to share his thoughts. He mentioned how the feelings evoked by the artwork mirrored a conversation he’d had that very morning about Gaza. He spoke of the children there, sitting in despair, yearning for light to break through the darkness, hoping for peace and a return to normalcy. Helpless.
Regardless of one’s political views, it’s heartbreaking to witness the suffering and loss that so many have endured in this endless conflict. I created this painting years ago, but its colors seem to resonate with the pain of the present situation and the colours of the Gaza flag. Will there be light soon for these children?
( Thank you again for this encounter, if you read this.)

I am changing the Title of this painting to -Will the dawn break ?-
